Who We Support
At the Kin Club of Okotoks, we are committed to assisting charities and non-profits in our region. It brings us great pride to contribute the proceeds from the Show and Shine event to local organizations. These donations make a positive difference in our community and the areas.
Rowan House Society provides domestic violence and abuse prevention and intervention services to communities in southern Alberta, specifically Foothills County, the MD of Willow Creek, and Vulcan County. In doing so, we work to fulfill our mission, we are here to break the cycle of domestic violence and abuse in our communities and our vision, we aspire to compassionately erase domestic violence and abuse. We do this through various supports and services within our seven core programs:
-
24-Hour Support Line
-
Emergency Shelter Program
-
Children’s Program
-
Preventative Education Program
-
Outreach Program
-
Court Support Program
-
Safe at Home Program
